Summer is winding down and kids are headed back to school and our amazing Rising Stars scholars are making sure that kids in need start the year off right by volunteering for the Supplies for Success Program in NYC! Rising Stars teamed up with Supplies For Success as partners in the belief that education is the recognized pathway out of poverty.
Children should walk into school on the first day with hope, excitement, and with the tools they need to succeed. Rising Stars kids did their part as they assembled over 500 backpacks then packed them for delivery to schools, shelters and organizations where they will be distributed to kids in need.
