On Sunday, March 25th, Rising Stars volunteers gathered at the Ronald McDonald House of LI to prepare brunch for the 80 families staying at the house. The families stay there to be close to Northwell Cohen’s Children’s Hospital where their children are receiving treatment.
The comforting home-cooked meal which was made by our student-athletes, with an assist from their dedicated parents, continues to prove that what happens off the court is what makes Rising Stars so extra-special.
